Beaumont is Girl Guiding
Foxlease is the training and activity centre of Girlguiding UK, near Lyndhurst in Hampshire. The Foxlease estate has been owned and managed by Girlguiding UK since 1922.
Foxlease Girlguiding UK first purchased a Beaumont 125 Energymaster unit back in the early 80’s. Twenty years later, Beaumont’s leading engineers were called in to repair a leak and assess the damage. Upon inspection, Beaumont engineers found scaling to be the cause. This could have been prevented by an annual de-scale of the unit.
During the assessment, Beaumont found that one of the internal heat exchangers was damaged. Moreover, the coating had worn away from the internal cylinder. Beaumont provided a full report explaining the options available and the most economical way of getting the unit operating. Beaumont carried out the remedial works to the Girl Guides’ schedule and got the unit back on line.
Another happy Beaumont customer.
Portman Mansions, Marylebone, London W1
Portman Mansions is a Victorian mansion block, built in the late 19th Century and currently consists of 120 flats (122 including the estate office and gym).
Beaumont was first introduced to Portman mansions back in the early 90's, when we supplied and installed two Vertical Units and a Minimaster. Moreover, Beaumont has supplied several Energymaster 2/50 gas water heaters, to three other Blocks - ensuring a hot water supply.
A service agreement has now been put in place to ensure Portman Mansions receive an annual de-scale and service. These will be carried out by Beaumont’s trusted and highly skilled engineers. The agreement and cost has been fixed over a period to suit Portman Mansions. A fixed emergency call-out has also been agreed, should the occasion arise.
Old Ship Brighton
In the early 80's Beaumont supplied two Vertical water heaters. In 2004, they supplied two Energymaster water heaters
In November, 2008 Beaumont Water Heaters provided; four new heat exchangers, a full de-scale to two Beaumont hot water fired heaters - commissioned to factory settings and to their optimum operating efficiency.
The pictures above show what happens when de-scaling is not carried out. The scale builds up all around the heat exchangers and the unit loses capacity to function efficiently. Beaumont removed the scale from the boiler - this should be done annually, especially if you are in a hard water area. However, scale does build up even if you use water softeners.
This picture shows the boiler without its heat exchangers, so you can see that the white coating is free of scale and remains in perfect condition. Beaumont completed the job, during the quiet periods, as requested by the hotel, so that guests would not be without hot water.
Romney Court, Shepherds Bush, London
Romney Court had an Energymaster 250 installed in 2002. When Beaumont engineers were called to carry out an emergency repair to the unit; they discovered the unit had never been de-scaled.
As you can see, from the pictures, the sides and middle of the heat exchangers are covered in scale - filling half of the boiler.
Beaumont completely removed all the scale from the cylinders and heat exchangers, leaving the water heater working efficiently. Moreover, Romney Court immediately started saving money, by using less fuel.
New Park House Care Home, Stoke-on-Trent
In 1990, Beaumont fitted two DF Speedmaster Units in New Park House Care Home
After 10 years of excellent service and heavy demand scale, from hard water, caused one of the units to start leaking. After discussing New Park’s immediate and future requirements, Beaumont suggested installing an Energymaster unit, with greater storage capacity, to cover peak demand. Moreover, the rear of this unit opens up allowing Beaumont’s highly skilled engineers to carry out a full de-scale. The Energymaster has the versatility of expanding, should the need arise, allowing a greater volume of water to be stored.
Beaumont installed their Energymaster 2/50 in 2011 and left the delightful New Park House Care Home very satisfied.
Queen Mary University - Mile End Road
Queen Mary has its roots in four historic colleges: Queen Mary College, Westfield College, St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College and the London Hospital Medical College.
The Mile End is historically the home of Queen Mary College, which began life in 1887 as the People's Palace, a philanthropic endeavour to provide east Londoners with education and social activities. It was admitted to the University of London in 1915.
The Queen Mary University first bought their Beaumont water heaters in 1992, in the University and West Smithfield. Beaumont has maintained these units for a number of years.
In 2010, the Queen Mary University upgraded their Departments and this included the instalment of Beaumont water heater facilities. Beaumont has also installed water heaters in four other university departments.
The Queen Mary University has been a Beaumont customer for many years and we very much look forward, to servicing their future needs.
